Why Celtic Whistles?
Enjoy the traditional sound of a Low-D Whistle as you play your favorite tune. I recall my first Low-D Whistle I purchased costing me over $150 and then waiting for several weeks for it to be imported to the US. My first thought in receiving it, they shouldn’t be this expensive and take so long to get. That was in 2005 and that is when I started Celtic Whistles and began building whistles that not only easily affordable for anyone but could be shipped quickly to a US address but had their own unique appearance. ~ Steve Scott , Founder

As you browse the internet, you notice most Irish Whistles look similar. Celtic Whistles immediately stand out with their individual finish and design.
Materials that are light weight but durable
The body and mouthpiece are constructed of a high pressure thin wall synthetic polymer. This makes them lightweight but durable. The fipple block is made from a hardwood plug that has been hand-turned on a lathe and carefully fit in the mouthpiece.
Each Whistle is unique
It takes several days to overlay each color on the Low-D Whistle. After each color has been applied, a special clear coat is applied to protect the exterior finish to give the whistle a high gloss protected finish.
Made in America by an Irish craftsman
Some friends call me “Scotty” and I have a rich family history dating back to the early 1700s from Tyron Ireland. I started the company in 2005.
Non-Tunable
These whistles are tuned during their construction. Just like the origional Irish Penny Whistles, these are non-tunable to maintain their unique tone.
